Why?
Local Government Solutions works to give. We donate 5% of our net revenue from most contracts to a 501c3 organization in or near the jurisdictions for whom we work. We do this for two reasons:
- We believe in keeping money in your community. It is one of the keys for strong economic development.
- We believe in increasing good in the world. To that end, we donate to organizations whose mission is to increase peace and understanding or to those who help maintain or repair the environment.
How?
Local Government Solutions provide analytical expertise to help solve problems within the local government sector. We act as “utility players” providing resources that government agencies need, when they need them. Most of our associates have worked in local government for decades and have been in your shoes. We understand the unique pressures and political environment that is crucial to providing actionable recommendations that help make jurisdictions more efficient and effective.
Who?
Local Government Solutions was created by Alan Rosen in 2021 after more than 20 years in local government and education management. Mr. Rosen has a Master in Public Administration, is an ICMA Credentialed Manager, and has served as a County Manager, City Manager, Budget Manager, and a government management consultant, among other roles.
After years providing analytical and budget assessments to government agencies across the country, he realized these skills are needed everywhere. Other areas of expertise include practical management and emotional intelligence and its implementation in management throughout local government. In addition to analytics, Mr. Rosen is an accomplished speaker, presenter, and martial artist.
